We are thrilled to share the highlights of our recent participation at the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS) Annual Meeting 2024, held in Kraków. It was an incredible opportunity to engage with the cardiovascular community and showcase the latest innovations in digital twin technology that are shaping the future of vascular surgery.
Key Highlights from the Event:
- Dr. Lucie Derycke delivered an insightful presentation on the application of digital twin and artificial intelligence technologies for predicting Type 1A endoleak following EVAR.
Her study focused on the accuracy of the patient-specific Endoleak Risk Index (ERI) in evaluating the risk of Type 1A endoleak, a significant factor in postoperative rupture after EVAR. By leveraging computational simulations, aortic digital twins, and machine learning algorithms, this research represents an important advancement in predicting and managing potential complications in vascular interventions.
- An other successful edition of our satellite event took place at ESVS Annual Meeting in Kraków, where we explored the latest advancements in AI-powered digital twin technology for EVAR predictive planning.
Many thanks to our distinguished speakers, PD Dr. P. Keschenau, Dr. M. D’Oria, Prof. Dr. V. Makaloski, and Pr. F. Thaveau, for presenting the results from the Endusim studies on Type IA endoleaks, as well as practical use cases of our CE-marked PlanOp™ ERI with Medtronic Endurant.
